About

Muhammad M. Jagana is a Gambian chartered accountant and entrepreneur whose public work spans financial services, digital payments, private-sector advocacy, sport governance, and community enterprise.

He qualified with the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants in the United Kingdom in 1995, returned to The Gambia, joined his family business, and then built ventures and institutions across remittances, payments, identification technology, and fintech.

His public philosophy is institution-first: strengthen governance, keep the economic interest of members at the center, expand access to finance, and use enterprise as a practical route for youth, women, athletes, and communities to build livelihoods.
